SELF-MADE
"Those who say they can, and those who say they can't are both usually correct."

My Story
About me...
It all started when I got fat and depressed over the UK lockdown in 2020. I was eating chocolate, crisps and toasties almost every night without doing any proper exercise. I knew something had to change if I wanted to become the man I was destined to be.

I started by active eating more healthily and heavily researching how to lose weight safely and effectively. During this time I found myself often feeling euphoric which was new to my old depressed self. I lost around 40lbs (18kg) in 5 months and the sense of accomplishment was incredible. Yet, I was still a long way off my goal which was to become a Greek-god lookin' mf; this was also when I took an interest in practicing self-discipline and delayed gratification.

It occurred to me at one point that, if you can control your mind properly...you are unstoppable. In todays society so many people are weak-minded because we live in an overstimulated era of technology and dopamine; this leads to less real-life social interactions and ultimately creates a bunch of soy boys. You may have heard the phrase "Hard times create strong men, strong men create good times, good times create weak men, weak men create hard times." which is a top tier view on the cycle of life in my opinion.
Right now, a lot of people are in a 'good time' meaning they do not feel the need to go above and beyond to become successful...they are content just getting by. And to that I say, get a grip man. Look at yourself in the mirror, that is the only person you should be fighting mentally.

So after losing all this weight I began to work out which elevated my mindset even further. I had new-found confidence not only from looking better physically, but from the feeling of doing activities every day that would mean I improved just a little bit. That's the main thing. Too many people try to improve themselves in a very small time scale and want fast results because they've been conditioned in this modern society to have instant satisfaction. If you can refuse this ideology and embrace becoming better a little day by day, you will be better than 90% of other people who just can't be bothered. It is what separates the strong from the weak and the successful from the fodder. It is your mind, control it.

"I don't care how anyone else is doing, I'm doing better than I was a year ago. And that's all that matters."
